At The Coffee Shed we’re all about taste and freshness. We believe that every brew begins with quality beans that have been carefully selected and freshly roasted to bring out their fullest, richest taste.
The Coffee Shed is a local Speciality coffee roasting company based in Romiley between Manchester, Stockport & the Peak District. We Started roasting coffee because we really like drinking good coffee and wanted to be able to supply our specialty coffee to coffee lovers in the area where we live and roast.
Our aim is to supply freshly roasted high quality speciality coffee beans with a minimal impact on the environment. Unfortunately coffee doesn’t grow near Manchester so we have to accept that it comes from Brazil, Uganda or Vietnam. We try and source green coffee beans that are traceable back to the farmers who grow and process the coffee cherries and strive to ensure that the coffee grower has been paid a fair price for their beans.
We roast in small batches to make sure that the coffee beans that you buy are freshly roasted when you buy them.

Our Kitchen
Starting in a kitchen we now roast our speciality beans in the custom-built Coffee Shed. As coffee enthusiasts we care passionately about flavour and are continually striving to expand our range of roasted beans to suit a range of tastes. We are proud to be coffee roasters based in Romiley.
